Newly finished drawing machine # 03 in the series :

This drawing machine was built out of RC car engines, a Mek-Struct set, a drafting compass, hot glue and screws.
The machine is controlled by two sets of controllers, one hardwired to the machine and the other sans-wires. This particular machine requires the participation of two individuals in order to create a drawing, the first one controls the front and back wheels while the second controls a pair of wheels that moves opposite to the axis of the first two. This way the axis of movement for each controller can negate actions or maximize them according to the direction selected.
This causes the machine’s movements to be sporadic and hard to control, which in turns makes the act of drawing unpredictable and equally uncontrollable. But this can be abated by careful planning and co-operation.
